Parking at the Carolina Beach Boardwalk:

Due to the large number of tourists that frequent the quarter-mile boardwalk, parking can be a bit of a hassle. There are several public lots and street-side parking areas along Hamlet Avenue, Charlotte Avenue, Cape Fear Boulevard and the main strip of Lake Park Boulevard, all of which are metered spaces. One way to avoid the parking hassle is to find a hotel that includes parking with an overnight stay. The Golden Sands Resort includes a parking pass with every room, with the option to purchase a second pass for $20. Our Carolina Beach resort is located just one mile from the Boardwalk – that’s a 3-minute drive, 15-minute walk or $6 Uber ride.
